On the morning of March 1, 2025, a significant milestone was reached as the rolling area of Wen'an Iron and Steel Group's special steel project officially commenced construction. The event was graced by more than 40 participants, including Yang Zhanyi, the project's deputy chief engineer, assistant deputy chiefs Niu Huilai and He Minying, and Zhang Xianrui, the general manager of Baizhuan Company. They gathered to witness this momentous occasion.
At the construction site, a fleet of construction vehicles and various mechanical equipment were neatly lined up, and the construction workers were fully prepared, eager to start their work. At 9:18 am, Niu Huilai solemnly announced, "The auspicious moment has arrived. The construction of the rolling area officially begins!" Coincidentally, this day was the second day of the second lunar month, a traditional day symbolizing new beginnings and prosperity in Chinese culture, also known as "Dragon Heads-raising Day." The air was filled with the sounds of firecrackers and the beating of drums, marking the start of the construction drive for the new year. Some special alloy products, such as Rare Earth Weather and Corrosion Resistant Steel, will meet the special needs of a large number of users.
Yang Zhanyi emphasized the importance of adhering to the principles of high quality and efficiency. He stressed the need to lay a solid foundation, strengthen coordination, accelerate the progress, strictly control the quality, and ensure safety. All efforts should be made to promote the project's construction. The goal is to build Wen'an's special steel project into an industry benchmark, injecting strong impetus into the regional economic development. This project is expected to not only enhance the group's competitiveness but also contribute significantly to the local economy, creating new job opportunities and driving related industries forward.
